About BTS
Beyond the Surface (Popularly called BTS) Is a discipleship platform with the core focus of helping participants and members deepen their walk with God by going beyond the mundane pursuits of life into the deeper things of God.
This is done through mentorship and discipleship programs, which are designed to take people into a richer pursuit of God. BTS is heavy on spiritual disciplines of prayer, fasting, giving and unearthing the depths of God's word.

Our journey so far
BTS started in November 2017, in response to a desire to meet the spiritual needs of a few people who wanted more depth in God In attendance were 6 women: Fumi Faloye, Olaitan Faloye, Fumi Ajayi, Seun Olorede, Lola Idudu, and Rev Oyiks Alfred. These women were all called together by Isoken Okunsanmi, who informed them of a mentorship session with Rev Oyiks Alfred.
What started as a casual meeting at a tiny restaurant (Cactus Restaurant Lekki Lagos,) which was intended to be a one-off mentorship session with just a few people, blossomed by the next week, into a bigger group, as each person spread the word. Those hungry for God had found a place to meet weekly and dig deeper into God. The Lagos mentorship session grew very quickly with people hungry for God coming weekly to experience God's word and His life-changing presence.
In February 2022, the BTS UK region was inaugurated, to meet the spiritual needs of people in the United Kingdom, who desired a deeper walk with the Lord. In September 2022, BTS Canada was also Inaugurated. In March 2023, BTS USA was birthed, and in the same March 2023, BTS Northern Nigeria was born to cater to the needs of people in the northern part of Nigeria. In May 2023, BTS Europe was also born.
The growth in all the BTS regions necessitated the development of clusters. These are smaller units of BTS members, clustered together because of proximity. The United Kingdom has 9 clusters spread across the United Kingdom.
BTS USA has 7 clusters. While BTS Europe and Canada have 4 clusters each. Bts Lagos has 3 clusters. BTS Northern Nigeria has 5 clusters.
The growth and impact story of Beyond the Surface is one of God's grace, funding and enhancing God's divine mandate called Beyond The Surface.

About Our Lead Mentor
Oyiks Alfred
An avid scholar, Oyiks has a sterling educational history.
She is a graduate of four prestigious Ivy League schools.
Havard Business School, Oxford University, Cambridge University and the London School of Business and Finance.
Where she obtained certificates in Business sustainability, neuropsychology, workplace performance improvement, and business management, respectively.
Aside from the aforementioned institution, her educational journey spans through a degree in sociology/anthropology from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, a postgraduate diploma in business management from the same university, and a master's degree from the University of Ibadan, in policy and planning of education.
She is an international conference speaker and has spoken at the United Nations headquarters in New York on employability challenges among African youths.
She has worked and consulted for various high-profile local and international organizations, including ING Netherlands, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), the National Boundary Commission, legacy pension managers and Sti consulting, helping them improve the productivity quotient and performance of individuals and work teams.
As a gospel minister, she has hosted evangelistic, revival, and discipleship programs worldwide. She has planted several churches, small groups, and ministries and established several transformational non-governmental organisations. Which has drawn hundreds of thousands into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, as men experience the reality of the Holy Spirit in her meetings. She is the anchor of my secret place devotion, which, according to Google Analytics, is currently received in 177 out of the 193 nations in the world.
Oyiks, though clergy, has proven to be an astute business professional, mentor, facilitator, and proficient productivity specialist. These are evident from the retinue of well-established ministries, businesses, and high-performing mentees, who excel tremendously in different industries across the world, including mentees who function as executives in Fortune 500 companies.
She is an author with over 12 books and has developed several productivity templates and resources that are helping people globally achieve great work, life, and ministry results. She is currently the principal consultant of New Global Access Partners (N-gap), The vice chancellor of Truthhill University and the founder of the People Who Win Ministries International. She hosts a mentorship platform called Beyond the Surface where professionals have deepened their walk with God.
She serves as the head of ministry operations at Oak House Church Lagos, where her husband, Dr Alfred, is the senior pastor. She is a mother with 4 incredible children.
